INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

This type of school can be counted as a highly innovative school due to its peculiarity in teaching and for the activities that will be practiced. Easily reached by external students, it is located east of the perimeter and on its edges served by existing external road infrastructures.

The structure includes at its center the lecture hall, separated at the top by a trench that architecturally distinguishes the two functions. It is sized according to the number of students expected in the school plan, or 500 students. It has a flat stalls that can also be used for any exhibitions, events, conferences and specialization courses, with the possibility of reducing the size of the area with movable panels, while the stage is placed at highest meter, this height to guarantee the participants the perfect acquisition of the visibility of the lecturers and / or the images that should be projected on the service screen and also guaranteeing the optimization of the acoustics, due to its trapezoidal plant shape.

The curved building is intended for educational activities and is divided into:

• Ground floor: the main entrance on the north side; secondary entrances on the east side such as:
  kitchen and ancillary rooms, at the service of the school community, with the possibility of use by the
  community on the occasion of courses, workshops and themed events; canteen with the possibility
  of use by the community on the occasion of courses, workshops and themed events; bathrooms
  serving the refectory; reception room; cleaning room; bathrooms for school groups; main entrance to
  the school; professors bathrooms; computer room, library, offices; two classrooms, physics
  laboratory and chemistry laboratory.
•  First floor: access to the floor by lift for the handicapped and two stairways that converge in an
  atrium from which the two large corridors branch off, as on the ground floor; 18 classrooms
  (acoustically designed and sized to accommodate 25 students); Teachers' room; Bathrooms for
  school groups; Bathrooms for teachers; Exit to the garden roof of the aula magna; exit to the kitchen
  garden roof.
•  Next to the buildings, there are three geodesic domes, each one of approx. 315 sqm, with a ground
  diameter of 20 meters. They are composed of a synergetic half-sphere structure in steel each,
  differently colored with an ETFE sheet covering the entire volume and opening on the top and on the
  sides, two will function as gyms equipped with sports fields while one will be used as an innovative
  themed greenhouse. for the teaching and experimentation of organic farming of local food products.
•  Canteen and kitchen: The kitchen is located adjacent to the school building in the southwest area
  near the entrance with the adjacent canteen; these locations are strategic for the use of the school
  community and by the community on the occasion of courses, workshops and themed events,
  defining themselves as an "educational restaurant", and are easily accessible from the entrance.
