COIPA Italia is progressing towards the implementation of the various projects included in the joint venture agreement executed between COIPA Capital and Ethiopian Railway Corporation (ERC), Ethiopia’s state-owned railway operator, and is currently in an advanced stage of negotiations with ERC regarding the joint investment agreements for the new ERC rolling stock and railway infrastructure maintenance workshop and the establishment of the ERC Construction and Consultancy Group. The signing of the joint investment agreements is expected to take place shortly.
